Bridges

A bridge is an ideal method to fill the space created by missing teeth. A bridge is one or more artificial teeth that are cemented into place using the real teeth on either side for support—hence the name. A bridge replaces the missing tooth both functionally and cosmetically. Bridgework is as much an art as it is an exact science. Bridge materials include gold alloys, porcelain bonded to metal alloy, or all-ceramic material made to match your natural tooth color. The choice of material depends on requirements for strength, wear, and/or esthetics. A dental bridge procedure begins with a consultation during which our experienced dentist will assess your dental health and discuss the most suitable bridge for your case. For traditional bridges, the teeth adjacent to the gap will be prepared by reshaping them to fit the crowns. Impressions of your teeth will be taken to create a custom bridge. While your permanent bridge is being made, a temporary bridge will be placed to protect the exposed teeth and gums. Once your custom bridge is ready, it will be carefully fitted before being permanently cemented or attached to implants. Our dentist will ensure that the bridge fits comfortably and functions properly. Any necessary adjustments will be made for optimal comfort and appearance.

"I’ve been a patient of Dr. Clark since 2005 and haven’t found a better dental office! Dr. Zurcher is also fantastic. The whole office experience is pleasant, efficient, and I’m warmly welcomed each visit. The admin team is incredibly kind, and the dental hygienists are expertly trained and super friendly. Highly recommend"
